OUR FACILITY
Located at the renown Double J Ranch in Whitesboro, Texas, and home of Ramona Caldwell, a three-decade board member and sponsor of multiple horse associations/events. This state-of-the-art facility includes two climate-controlled barns, indoor 6 panel walker and a 105' Equine Swim Lane. An outdoor track and several outdoor turnouts surround the barn and welcome center, in addition to several natural streams and ponds throughout. It has peaceful qualities of seclusion and gated throughout for security and privacy of our clients. An equine based facility, we also offer multiple services to other animals, such as bovine, canine etc. Our over-sized boarding capabilities, covered arena, and spacious stalls allows it to be an ideal stop for trainers on the road. The south barn is where you will find the home of Ramona’s Champion show horses, including her AQHA Halter stallion Enquest. This is also a working barn during breeding season for our in-house vets, Dr. Kenny May & Dr. Chelsea. It has stocks, lights, lab room, and over-sized foaling stalls. The north barn and lawn also entails a spacious front office and landscaping to host events, such as weddings, business meetings, and special birthdays.
The northern two-story center offers many therapies for our human clients. On the second floor you will find a glass viewing area over the animal spa treatment area. The first floor entails our main office, stalls for hospitalization and boarding, and a spacious waiting room, equipped with a coffee bar, tv, bistro area, sofa lounge and view of one of our many natural ponds. The treatment area for our animal patients is found here as well, double stocks that are equipped with TheraPlates set into the concrete, wash bays, Hot & Cold Salt Water Nautilus and our heated indoor swim lane. EAST is my go-to place for my horses when I have to travel, which is at least 6-8 times a year. I stumbled across this gem over a year ago and it has been a huge blessing. I work directly with Christine but I have met a lot of the team, all of whom are so nice, considerate and energetic. Their passion makes it quite clear that my horses are being taken care of while I am gone.
I have a bit of a high maintenance horse and she is treated like a queen. They listened to me to understand her quirks and they just work around them and keep her calm and relaxed. My other horses get the same royal treatment and all of them come back looking better than when I dropped them off. I also get videos and can text and get an immediate response back if I want to check in. They also keep a clipboard on each horse to monitor them so if I ever wanted to see exactly how their days went, I can do that.
Aside from the extraordinary personnel, the facilities are second to none. Heated barns, state of the art therapy barn (eurocizer, salt water therapy, swimming lane, etc), in addition to having on site staff that are well trained for rehab OR just getting a horse physically fit. Even their hay is first class!!
I have used several facilities that come highly recommended and not one of them can come close to the standard that EAST sets.
If there is a good enough compliment I can give, it is that every time I drop my horses off, I am not entirely confident they will want to come back with me because of how well taken care of they are at EAST.
Thank you guys so much for setting such a high standard and meeting them time and time again while I am away and my attention is focused elsewhere. That peace of mind knowing they are in the best hands is priceless.

I've dealing with a snake bite on my mare's leg for about 1.5 yrs. I would have lost this horse had it not been for the staff at Equine Aqua Spa Center in Whitesboro, TX. The staff was amazing. The cold salt water soaks, laser, and theraplate treatments have brought the infection out.
